Digital Overload 2010
March 7-9 2010 is going to be an epic weekend for us here at BobbyTsticks. We are going to be at Digital Overload in Providence, RI and we will have some serious custom sticks for sale.
This year there is going to ba a Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournement and the grand prize will be a NEStick for the Wii.
Thats right, I make them for the Wii and they are wireless (w/help from the Wiimote). So if you are in the Providence, RI area please stop by the booth and grab a custom stick and start rocking faces.

Now I am playing with power.
The search for consoles continues and is proving to be fruitful. I just purchased a couple systems and other NEStick neccesities. We should have a few going up onto the site next week.
I was playing some Pacman CE last night on the NEStick and I am happy to say that I beat my high score. Maybe the planets aligned. Maybe I was just on fire. But, I know it was my NEStick. It was incredibly accurate and I didnt find myself turning in the wrong dirrection or randomly stopping.
In every NEStick is a Happ Competition 8-way joystick with Cherry Microswitches and Happ Competition button w/ Happ Suzo Microswitches.
Most of you will ask, "Why Happ and not Siemitsu or Sanwa?"
The reason for this is because Happ is the american standard for buttons. They are more rugged than any other button/stick out there and they just feel better, to me at least.

Every year we go through the motions time after time when it comes to the holidays. Hey, I love St. Pats, Christmas and Thanksgiving as much as the next guy but I am a gamer and I wanted a gamer holiday. www.ctrlaltdel-online.com answered my prayers to the gaming gods with Wintereenmas.
WIntereenmas was created by Ethan, CADs main character, as a way to celebrate one our worlds biggest hobby/industry. Gaming. So, in the final 7 days of January we honor our favorite past time by gaming for hours on end with our family and friends.
For the past 5 years I have held parties to celebrate and every year it gets better and better. This gave us the birth of the NEStick. What Wintereenmas wonders are in store for us in the future. Only the gaming gods know.
